Our graduation

This is the last day we come to school.
Students have a presentation on what they've learnt in Australia.

Then, everyone has received a certificate.

Some fun here, can you spot our teacher Andrew here?

It'll be Miki's birthday very soon. We have a little surprise for her.

Too sad to leave so soon, but we're sure we'll come back again.

It's Movie World

Another theme park today: Movie World.

There're rides:

Cartoon characters:

Shows:

Parades:

And souvenirs:

An afternoon at Tambourine Mountain

Nice weather, do not just stay indoors.
Today's destination: Skywalk at Tambourine Mountain.

It's actually a canopy walk.

We've learnt something about Australian trees and wildlife.

Then, we go to Arts Gallery, a place where you can see shops selling handicrafts from different countries.

Burleigh Heads and Pacific Fair

Too bad that I've forgotten my camera.

Burleigh Heads on Sunday is a good choice. Lots of outdoor activities and they're free! Walking, surfing, sunbathing, and most importantly, there's music festival. Just get involved and have fun.

And then, I've taken a local bus ride to Pacific Fair, a massive shopping mall.

A day at Brisbane

It takes one hour drive to Brisbane.

At Southbank, there're lots of things to see.
Some music

Some cartoon characters

Ferris wheel

Street performance

Church

The grassland

Streets Beach

The ferry: City Hopper

Just relax and spend a weekend here.

Australian Barbecue

This is our lesson in the morning.

After lunch, we do shopping for the barbecue. Here are what we've got, and of course, kangaroo meat.

Barbecue at the lake. You see:

Actually, it's grilling. You won't see the fire.

And at the end, we have a sharing session.

Dream World

Highlight today: Dream World.
So, what are we waiting for?

Here we are.

Let's start here: our train.

Sheep shearing. Poor sheep. It's winter here in Australia.

Some more animals to see: kangaroos, tigers...

This is the best part of the trip so far: cuddling a koala.
It's so cute, so soft and a bit heavy. I love it.

Besides the Australian wildlife, there are of course, rides.

The park is divided into a few area:

Goodbye to Dream World.
